ICC Solutions is proud to be a donator to Claire House Children's Hospice, based just a few miles from our UK Head Quarters in Warrington.
Funds were donated via a sponsored trek through the Pyrenees undertaken by local individuals. One of the trekkers, a Relationship Manager with Barclays Bank commented "We are delighted with the sponsorship from ICC Solutions for our recent Pyrenees trek, it was a real morale boost for all of the participants. We met all our expenses connected with this trip so every penny raised in sponsorship went directly to Claire House Children's Hospice".
Paula Turner, General Manager at ICC Solutions added "Claire House Children's Hospice is a local charity which directly benefits very sick children and their families in our area. Their work is outstanding and includes end of life care, emotional and psychological support in addition to bereavement care and crisis management. At ICC Solutions we strongly believe that children are the key to our future. We proudly support the JustCare charity who carry out wonderful work in Uganda.
ICC Solutions was delighted to donate a substantial amount of funds to the JustCare charity recently. In fact a whole school block was build with what we consider to be our ' investment in their future'. This allowed more children to be added to the register at Tower College School Kamatuuza and secured the places of many who lacked funding.
Dave Maisey C.E.O. commented "This charity is of special importance to me. The volunteers through their fundraising provide not just schooling, but a health centre for these vulnerable children, many of whom have been orphaned by HIV. The message which continually comes across from Rev. Peter Partington is that these proud people don't want charity they are desperate for education and good health to provide themselves with a better future."
"The principal objectives of the charity is to encourage, enable and support the people of Uganda to develop and improve their education, economic development and spiritual lives, with a particular emphasis on the educational and medicals needs of the thousand of children in the town of Kamatuuza."

The 2Simple Trust
ICC Solutions is delighted to support the 2Simple Trust. The Trust exists to allow groups of people to achieve their objectives in a manner that would not be possible on their own.
The 2Simple Trust raises money to benefit children suffering from neuroblastoma, to fund research into neuroblastoma, and to achieve other charitable purposes which seek to assist those children suffering from neuroblastoma.
Essentially, the trust has facilitated parents and families to raise funds to support the treatment of children suffering from neuroblastoma. Recognising the importance of clinical research to improve the outcome for all children with neuroblastoma, the trust has now commenced a programme to fund leading clinical research in recognised cancer centres.

The Sea Cadets
Commanding Officer S/Lt (SCC) John P. Unsworth said of ICC Solutions "This generous donation has enabled us to purchase vital equipment which would not have otherwise been available due to lack of funding. We are grateful to ICC Solutions, not only for the donation but the way they support our unit and attend our events."

About The Sea Cadets Newton Le Willows: The Sea Cadets offer a wide range of largely free activities ranging from sailing and canoeing, rock climbing, engineering, IT and communications, to music and cookery. The Corps aims to encourage good citizenship and provide worthwhile qualifications (including the Duke of Edinburgh and BTEC), experience and adventure for young people. Cadets have the opportunity to learn life skills whilst having fun and making friends This local organisation is made up of volunteers who give their time freely to the benefit of children between the ages of 8 and 18. The main purpose of the organisation give children in the community a place to go 2/3 times a week where invaluable life skills are taught. Outward bound challenges are arranged twice a year and is open to children who may otherwise not have a family holiday. The ethos of the organisation is to encourage children to have respect for themselves and others.
